Joel Storm

Born and raised in Madison, IN, Joel graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 2005. In 2009 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served with the Marine Special Operations Command. In, 2018, Joel left the Marine Corps and enlisted into the Indiana Army National Guard. While awaiting orders, Joel founded his first company, Storm Contracting LLC. Storm Contracting provided contracting solutions ranging from staffing, training, and production in the civilian, commercial, and government sectors. In 2019, Joel reported to Ft. Bragg, NC. to attend the Special Forces Qualification Course and enrolled into Norwich University. Joel completed his course in 2021, earning the title of Green Beret, graduated from Norwich University with a B.S. in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis, and returned home to Madison, IN.

In 2022, Joel became the sales manager for Equity Builders Roofing in Bloomington and enrolled into Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business as an MBA candidate. Under his charge he led a team of 4 sales representatives in the Southern Indiana region.

In 2023, Joel became the proud owner of a RoofAid franchise and is currently the owner/operator.

Joel is a husband and father of 6, a volunteer firefighter, and a running member for Madison’s city council. He is a professional musician, an avid surfer, entrepreneur, and continues his studies with the Kelley School of Business.
